Mobile Website Development Takes a Leap with Tool From NetBiscuits

Sep 15, 2010

If you’re interested in creating killer mobile websites and apps, and don’t currently have any programming skills, you may be interested in Netbiscuits‘ cloud-based, cross-platform development system.

Released this week, their Sitebuilder 2.0 includes an updated suite of tools for building websites and applications for smartphones and mobile devices. The software breaks down sites into columns, and makes them available on mobile devices’ smaller screens.

“Biscuits” are defined as the building blocks in Sitebuilder 2.0, which enables users to create device-specific output, and has features including image sliders and cover-flow type menus. Tabs are available within apps, and location-based searching is supported, bringing this functionality to iPhones, iPad and other devices.
