Introducing Forrst, a New Social Network for Developers and Designers

Jul 2, 2010

If you’re thinking Facebook for designers and developers, you’d be correct. New social networking site Forrst was created as a place where techies can share links, pics and code snippets with other developers.

To join the community, developers and designers must apply or receive an invitation. Forrst was created to be a place where folks don’t have to be afraid to share tidbits that may not even be their best work in the interest of feedback and constructive criticism.

The site is billed as “A place for designers and developers to share screenshots, links, code and questions.” New features are coming, such as the ability to logically link two related posts together, a feature they call Post Replies. Look for greater things to come from this community.
