IBM Accelerates Application LifeCycle Wars with the Acquisition of UrbanCode

IBM announced the acquisition of UrbanCode, a Cleveland Ohio based application lifecycle vendor. Both IBM and UrbanCode have been increasing marketing to position themselves in the rapidly expanding DevOps market. The IBM-UrbanCode deal has already closed. Financial details were not disclosed, though the purchase price is unimportant in the huge scale of IBM’s finances. Read the full details here.
