CopperCube is a 3D authoring tool for creating interactive 3D games, apps and websites, without needing to program anything, although it also offers a scripting API for advanced users. It focuses on a user friendly interface which makes it possible create 3D apps without programming, and is able to create WebGL and Flash websites, Mac OS X and Windows apps, as well as Android mobile apps. The just released version 5.2 is a big step forward, with the following new features:
– Realistic Realtime Water
can be used to create rivers, lakes, and oceans. It is highly configurable, and works smoothly on all targets (Windows, Mac OS X, WebGL, Flash and Android)
– Procedural Tree Generator
integrated is now an editor for creating procedural generated 3D trees.
– DPad support on Android
– 21 day trial
The trial period is now 21 days instead of 14 days, so CopperCube can be tried even longer now.
– Lots of other, smaller changes, like sharper displayed 2D Overlays in WebGL,
support for Pointer Lock in Google’s Chrome browser, and others.
