Comcast has announced plans to begin offering smartphone data plans before the end of June. The Xfinity Mobile Service will only be available to customers who use Comcast’s home Internet service.
Pricing for the plans start at $12 per GB. The company will also offer an “unlimited” plan for $45 or $65 per month, but if users exceed 20GB of mobile data, it will throttle speeds to 1.5Mbps. The plans will not have additional line access fees.
