Cloud services is a topic that most developers are intimately familiar with, but lately small and midsize businesses (SMB) are becoming aware of them and even fully understand what they are and how they can be used. According to the results of the 2011 SMB Cloud Watch report, around 44 percent of SMBs had a “full understanding” of cloud services.
Along with the increase in SMBs that understand the use of the cloud, 45 percent are already using at least one cloud service. The survey was conducted by Cisco Systems‘ Internet Business Solutions Group, and pertains to small businesses that have less than 250 employees.
