BBEdit 10 Released With Updated HTML Markup Functionality

Jul 21, 2011

Mac developers will be happy to hear that BBEdit version 10 has been released by Bare Bones Software. This release includes additional HTML markup functionality, an improved user interface, and EPUB editing.

BBEdit has always been well spoken of in the industry, with support for the Subversion version control system, grep-based searching, colored syntax for styling text using the Markdown format, and other standard text editor functionality.

By using BBEdit 10’s new popover for HTML tags, a developer can set all the attributes for that tag; editing an existing tag is just as easy. The ability to create and switch among HTML and CSS templages is a nice feature, allowing the developer to preview their work as they go.
