After days of outages, miscellaneous password reset notices and other just plain weird activity around the site, Apple has finally offered a root-cause of the all the troubles of their developer website. As it turns out, an intruder attempted to secure personal information of Apple’s registered developers from the developer website. Apple also stated last week that the data was fully encrypted making it useless to anyone who captured it however, Apple also could not rule-out the possibility that the developer names, personal mailing addresses, and their email addresses were not accessed during the intrusion.
