Apple Releases iOS 4.2 Beta 2 to Developers

Today Apple released the second beta release of iOS 4.2 to the Apple Developer community. This release brings the next generation of iOS devices closer to its projected official November release.


There is no official word about new functionality or additions to this release, but developers are already happy with it, stating that it contains less bugs than the previous release.


iOS 4.2 will provide the most benefits to iPad users, as it is the first such release of version 4.x to the iPad. New features for iPhone owners include AirPrint wireless printing AirPlay wireless multimedia streaming.
