.Net Developers now have an alternative to Microsoft Azure when hosting their apps in the cloud with Amazon’s cloud. Amazon Web Services or AWS extends their Microsoft .NET SDK. Now offering support for Windows Store, WinRT, and Windows Phone 8 apps which extends the already available options for the SDK in iOS and Android AWS. Still in Development Preview, Amazon’s updated .NET SDK provides developers with the ability to connect their apps to AWS services such as S3, EC2 and more in addition to select the AWS region the SDK is capable of making calls to.
