Adobe’s Flash-to-HTML5 Conversion Tool Comes To Light

Oct 29, 2010

Although most people know Adobe as the mother of Flash technology, the company has largely been embracing HTML5. This week Adobe produced a demo of a new tool that converts Flash animations to HTML5.

Recently they also released their own HTML5 video player and some of their other developers tools, including Adobe Illustrator and Dreamweaver CS5, feather several new HTML5 export tools.

Although the tool is far from complete, and currently produces some “ugly” code, given the ability for developers use it to export their animations from Flash to HTML5, it could be a very useful tool for successfully porting video that can’t otherwise play on iOS devices.
