Adobe’s Flash Media Server Now Available via Cloud Services

Dec 16, 2010

Adobe announced today that its Flash Media Server is now available via a pay-as-you-go option through Amazon Web Services cloud services. Flash Media Server 4 enables developers to stream videos that can be hosted on Adobe Web Services Elastic Compute Cloud service.

By using Amazon’s cloud services, developers don’t have to worry about installation and configuration problems, and can focus on getting their own services online. To use the service, developers must pay a flat rate of $5 for setup and $5 per month, with additional fees for video-streaming capacity and bandwidth used.

Additional info can be found on the Amazon Web Services section of Adobe’s website.
