Adobe announced that it will soon be acquiring Auditude, an ad management company, and will integrate the Auditude ad server with its own Flash Media Server and Adobe Pass platform. With the acquisition, Adobe will be able to provide multiple development options for its video publishing tools.
The Auditude software is available as a plugin for multiple content management systems and video creation tools, and enables developers to create video ads which appear on multiple displays. Its Audible software allows ad placement to be more flexible, and provides workflow tools as well.
