Adobe Systems has announced the release of a new version of its legacy development platform, ColdFusion 10, which features new HTML5 and REST support. With version 10, ColdFusion 10 now offers built-in support for HTML5 and helps boost performance using Tomcat integration and enhanced caching. Also, with the new hotfix installer and scheduler, ColdFusion 10 Enterprise Edition will now provide enterprise developers with the ability to improve productivity, while providing stronger encryption and authentication techniques, making websites created with the suite much more secure.
