Netlify, a startup that offers Web development software, has raised $12 million in series A funding from several investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Bloomberg Beta, Designer Fund and Tank Hill Ventures. Netlify’s solution aims to speed the development of websites and improve the performance of those sites. It integrates with Git and Netlify’s content delivery network, and it also includes a content management system.
The startup says it will use the funding to hire more employees. It is currently building out its microservices platform and extending its sales and marketing team.
