Opera Software announced the release of their new Opera Devices SDK 4.2. The new SDK is the latest Software Development Kit (SDK) being announces at this year’s International Broadcasting Convention (IBC). The new SDK for smart TVs will be the industry’s first Blink-based engine with a embeddable HTML5 rendering engine. The new SDK also supports HbbTV 1.5 which is the latest version of the broadband broadcast specification, 4K resolution and support for devices based on the Android and RDK (Reference Design Kit).
