Mozilla Announces the Release of a New HTML5 Based Mobile Firefox OS

With seven European carriers already buying into the deal, including ZTE and TCL Communications, the Mozilla Foundation announced they will launch their new Firefox operating system beginning in Brazil in 2013. The all HTML5 and open Web standards based OS will unlock many current limitations to mobile web development. The new OS will initiate the launch of a whole new breed of smartphones designed entirely to meet the emerging open Web standards. Read the full story here.
