Magickly API Enables Online Image Editing

May 17, 2011

The Magickly API enables developers to manipulate images online, and doesn’t require the use of an API key. Using Magickly, images can be rotated, flipped, converted, resized and more.

Based on the Aviary Effects API, Magickly is a web-based front-end for ImageMagick. By accessing a URL that includes the URL of the source image, a developer can perform image transformations on-the-fly. The service can be used directly from the Magickly web server, or it can be hosted directly on the developer’s host.

It hasn’t received much attention, but if your site or application requires images to be edited in real-time, you should consider Magickly API.
