Ghost Launches 1.0 Version of Open Source Blogging Platform
Web developers looking for an open source content management and blogging platform have a new alternative to WordPress. Developer John O’Nolan has released the 1.0 version of Ghost. “About four years ago we launched Ghost on Kickstarter as a tiny little prototype of an idea to create the web’s next great open source blogging platform,” O’Nolan said. Now the tool is ready for production use.
Interested developers can download Ghost for free and host it on their own servers, or they can use the paid hosting service, which is free for the first 14 days.
