Demand for Mobile Devs, Web Devs Up 104%, Recruiter Says

Job recruiter and staffing firm Randstad Technologies said that demand for key mobile development and Web development skills climbed 104 percent between 2014 and 2016. Specifically, it sees high demand for iOS, Android, HTML5, Angular, Java and JavaScript development capabilities.

“As consumers increasingly rely on smartphones and tablets for information and tasks, businesses of all sizes, particularly in industries such as hospitality, restaurants and consumer goods, are dedicating resources to enhance mobile apps and optimize online presence with mobile responsive Web site design,” Randstad said.
