New Version of CMS Made Simple Features Custom URLs, JQuery Support

By HTMLGoodies Staff

The CMS Made Simple content management system was recently updated, with this release featuring custom URLs for each page, and support for JQuery. The full release is expected later this month, and this update provides some major changes from previous versions.

CMS Made Simple was updated with search engine optimization (SEO) in mind. With the new feature that allows custom URLs, each page gets its own URL and title (which can be as long as needed), which benefits visitors to your site as they are searching on search engines such as Google.

This release also replaces the CMS' previous JavaScript library, called scriptaculous, with JQuery, a speedier JavaScript library which enables developers to code easier, and allows interaction with other JavaScript libraries.
