Adobe Patches 8 Vulnerabilities in Flash, Shockwave
If you maintain a website that uses Adobe Flash or Shockwave, it's time to remind visitors to update their players. Adobe has released an update that fixes seven bugs in Flash Player and one in Shockwave Player. Six of the Flash security vulnerabilities are considered critical, including one buffer overflow bug and two memory corruption vulnerabilities.
Adobe says it hasn't received any reports of these bugs being exploited in the wild.
Last month, the company patched 13 other vulnerabilities in its software.
