Following the eruption of violence at protests in Charlottesville, Web hosting provider GoDaddy has given a prominent white supremacist site 24 hours to move to a new provider. GoDaddy said that the Daily Stormer's coverage of the events in Charlottesville "could incite additional violence," which violated the company's terms of service.
In addition, hackers claiming to be part of the group Anonymous say they have taken over the Daily Stormer website. “For too long, the Daily Stormer and Andrew Anglin have spewed their putrid hate on this site. That will not be happening anymore,” the group said. “We will allow the site to remain online for 24 hours so the world can witness the hate. Then we will shut it down permanently.”
