Although JavaScript is the most commonly used internet scripting language, and works across all web browsers, it is also one of the most common technologies that is by hackers to cause a web browser to take advantage of security vulnerabilities.  

Because JavaScript can be used for less-than-honest purposes such as injection attacks for cross-site scripting, web browser software companies have had to increase their security. There are many JavaScript security options available, but the real question is whether enterprises should allow the use of JavaScript at all?
