Samsung Electronics' new chief executive, Choi Geesung, said the South Korean technology giant would cultivate new revenue sources in the infotainment and "lifecare" sectors and beef up its PC, appliance and camera businesses.
Choi, who officially took over as CEO on Thursday, said in his inauguration speech that Samsung would further cement its leading position in televisions, mobile phones, memory chips and liquid crystal displays, while seeking to develop future growth engines.
