The Scrollorama jQuery plugin Enables Animated Page Elements

With Adobe’s Flash no longer the defacto tool used to create web-based animations and movies, other tools have been showing up to take its place. This week a new such tool, the Scrollorama jQuery plugin, was announced, and it allows developers to use CSS and jQuery to animate almost any HTML element on a page.

John Polacek created Scrollorama, and he describes it as being able to take HTML elements such as pictures, video, text–just about anything–and rotate, zoom and otherwise move them around the page. Developers can download the plugin and try it out for free. It’s an interesting idea, and is fun to play with, if nothing else.
