Chrome Packaged Apps, a new web browser enabled tool enabled by default in the new developer build of Google’s Chrome browser. Similar to Mozilla’s Marketplace, HTML5 packaged apps delivered through Chrome can now be installed directly into the Windows Desktop just like any other software install package, placing the files on the local harddrive and installing a shortcut on the desktop.
