AmplifyJS 1.0 JavaScript Library Handles Client-Side Data Storage

This week the AmplifyJS 1.0 JavaScript library was released by appendTo LLC. AmplifyJS 1.0 was designed to simplify all aspects of data handling through the use of a unified API. The library uses HTML5 functionality for local storage while providing fallback methodology for older browsers.

AmplifyJS provides developers with Ajax Request Management, Client Side Component Communications, and Client Side Browser & Mobile Device Storage, and makes it easier to take advantage of HTML5’s local storage functionality. It works well on mobile devices, and adds extra features to jQuery’s ajax method.

Anyone who is interested in using AmplifyJS can download it from the AmplifyJS website for free–it’s open source and licensed under the MIT and GPLv2 licenses.
